We had Christmas morning in a little cabin, 16 by 20. Yeah, things haven’t changed much. However, it didn’t have a dirt roof. But what you see in this picture is the result of that Christmas. We worked so hard.
We only had maybe five or six presents that we shared as a family Christmas morning. After I cooked breakfast and we opened our presents, we went to the distillery and worked; and that night we watched a movie in the cabin. Jacob crawled up beside me on the bed where we were watching a movie and said, “Dad, this is the best Christmas we’ve ever had.”
I set my goal for January 6 because we had distributors coming on January 6, and guess what—we fired the distillery and distilled on January 4, two days before schedule.
